
Judy Garland’s short lived variety/concert television show aired from late 1963 to early 1964. Despite the show’s cancellation after a single season, it has gained more popularity with newer audiences and has been released numerous times on home video. Now, the US rights to all 26 episodes of the CBS show are being put up for auction to the general public. Along with the episode masters comes never before broadcast outtakes, a behind the scenes photo gallery, publicity shots used for the show, and a commentary track by those who were involved in the series. The auction was launched today by The Royalty Exchange with a starting bid of $1.5 million. The auction will close on December 16th at 2:00PM EST. This could be very good for Garland fans, we might be seeing more of The Judy Garland Show possibly in complete box sets, or maybe on blu-ray! So if you happen to have a few million laying around, why not bid on this historic television show?
